This two-island tour explores the city of Nassau and Paradise Island. Enter the Atlantis resort for 40 minutes, drive through Paradise Island, taking a panoramic view of this wealthy community and the ancient 13th-century Cloisters of Versailles. Tour the city of Nassau’s lower-income village where Sir Sidney Poitier lived before fame, which has a scenic view of clapboard homes from the early 1900s, ancient churches, and more highlights of the island. We offer a stop at the Rum Cake factory, where there is free rum cake tasting. We also stop at the Fort Fincastle, Queen’s Staircase, where there is flea market-style souvenir shopping. There is also chocolate tasting at the Chocolate Factory, wine tasting at the winery, and moonshine tasting at the Bahamian Moonshine Company. There is a 30-minute stop at Junkanoo Beach where you can choose to end the tour if you wish for extra time at the beach (this is a 15-minute walk back to the cruise port). We complete the tour at the Nassau cruise port.
